These Terms of Service govern your use of Rent Affordably's Dumpster Rental services. By requesting a quote, scheduling service, or using our equipment, you agree to these terms. Please review them thoroughly, as they constitute a binding legal agreement.
Service Agreement
Engaging Rent Affordably for Dumpster Rental services creates a binding contract. The agreement encompasses the quoted specifications, rental duration, pricing, and these Terms. Service execution begins upon your confirmation of the quote and our scheduling of delivery, applying our standard operational protocols.
Rental Period and Extensions
The rental period is defined in your service confirmation. Extensions must be requested before the scheduled pickup and are subject to availability and additional fees. We implement a structured notification system for end-of-term reminders, but you remain responsible for timely completion of use within the agreed period.
Permitted and Prohibited Materials
You agree to load only acceptable waste materials as specified in our provided guidelines. Prohibited items include hazardous, liquid, flammable, or regulated substances. Violation may result in refusal of pickup, additional fees, and potential liability for disposal costs and environmental penalties.
Container Placement and Access
You must provide a safe, accessible, level site for container placement, free of overhead obstructions and with adequate load-bearing capacity. Our technicians will determine final placement using industry-standard assessment methods. You agree to maintain clear access for delivery and retrieval equipment throughout the rental term.
Weight Limits and Overages
Each container has a specified weight limit. Overages are charged per ton at current disposal facility rates. We employ pre-rental estimation techniques, but you are responsible for monitoring fill levels. Extremely heavy materials like dirt or concrete may require designated heavy-duty units.
Damage and Liability
You are liable for damage to the container beyond normal wear, including fire damage, structural compromise, or unauthorized modifications. Rent Affordably is not liable for damage to your property arising from container placement unless caused by our proven negligence during delivery or retrieval operations.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the invoice terms. We accept major credit cards and electronic transfers. Late payments may incur fees and result in service suspension. Our billing system applies automated reminders, but timely payment remains your responsibility under the service agreement.
Cancellation and Changes
Cancellations require 24 hours notice prior to scheduled delivery to avoid fees. Changes to service dates or container size are subject to availability and may adjust pricing. We manage these requests through our centralized scheduling protocol to minimize disruption.
Permits and Regulations
You are responsible for obtaining any required permits for placement on public property. Rent Affordably may assist with this process as a service, but final compliance with local ordinances rests with you. We conduct regulatory reviews, but codes vary by municipality.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rent Affordably from claims arising from your use of the container, including improper loading, unauthorized materials, permit violations, or third-party injuries related to the container during the rental period, except where directly caused by our gross negligence.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where Rent Affordably is headquartered. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under commercial rules, with each party bearing its own costs. This clause ensures efficient resolution without resorting to lengthy court proceedings.
